Dalam rangka Hari Jadi Bogor ke-527, Istana Bogor mengadakan Istana Bogor Open 2009 yang akan diselengarakan pada tanggal 18 sampai dengan 20 Mei 2009 dan tanggal 25 sd 28 Mei 2009 (kecuali Sabtu dan Minggu Libur). Bagi masyarakat yang belum pernah melihat isi dari Istana Bogor, dapat mengikuti acara ini.
Bagi yang berminat dapat mendapatkan diri mulai dari tanggal 7 sd 16 Mei 2009 (Minggu Libur) pada jam 08.00 – 14.00 pada:

Located in the central of Bogor City Jl. Ir. H. Juanda No. 1 Bogor phone (0251) 8313256 with the extent of 28 hectares, completed by hundreds of deers and more than 100 huge trees in large yard. Governor General Gustaf Willem Baron Van Imhoff built it as a villa in 1745.
Known as Istana Bogor, this group of buildings is located on the northern side of Botanical Garden. The main building, Buitenzorg (”without a formality”), dated back in 1856 and was the official residence of the General Governor of the Dutch East Indies. After Indonesia´s Independence, it became a Presidential Palace most frequently visited by the first President Soekarno.
